Lord Honey, one of my favorite bourbon cocktails is a Kentucky Mule. A typical mule cocktail contains liquor, lime juice and ginger beer--a Moscow mule contains vodka, a Texas mule has tequila, and a Kentucky mule--of course has bourbon. I add just a splash of lemon-lime soda and a touch of berry to make my "Kentucky Blackberry Mule" a refreshing bourbon treat. Cheers Y'all!!
Kentucky Blackberry Mule

Makes 1 Drink
Ingredients:
3 ounces Bourbon
3 ounces blackberry syrup
1 ounce lime juice
2 ounces lemon lime soda
Good splash of ginger beer
1-2 lime wedges/slices, for garnish
3-4 fresh blackberries, for garnish
Directions:
• In a cocktail shaker place a small amount of ice and add the first 3 ingredients, place the lid on and shake for 15-20 seconds.
• Pour over ice in a mule cup.
• Top off with lemon lime soda and ginger beer.
• Garnish with a lime wedge/slice, and blackberries
